I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Graphics and Multimedia Engineering by Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, Portugal with a final grade of 17/20. The degree covered engineering and computer science subjects, often from a graphical point of view, with a strong practical component – in individual or group projects I worked on projects ranging from web and database software, to physical interfaces using custom electronics, augmented reality, virtual reality computer vision and 3D games.
The individual final project was the development of a real-time 3D physics engine with custom 3D collision detection, physical forces and motion modelling.
During the degree, I also spent 6 months at VGTU, Vilnius, Lithuania through the Erasmus programme.
